Maria Macias

Hello! My name is Maria Macias and I am a Colorado native. I graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Behavioral Science. I have been working in education for 13 years mostly in early childhood education. I’ve also worked with grades 1st-5th as an intervention paraprofessional. I recently completed a long-term substitute position at Carson in kindergarten and I’m so excited to be back!

When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy reading, gardening, and exploring the mountains with my husband and daughter.
