I have been teaching for 11 years and proudly hold my National Board Certification. I obtained my teaching license from the University of Alabama—Roll Tide! In addition to teaching I also work at Amplify, training and supporting classroom teachers in implementing Amplify CKLA in their classrooms. I am originally from Orange County, California and have been part of the wonderful Denver community for the past 4 years.

I absolutely love learning and strive to share that passion with my students. When I’m not in the classroom, I love to stay active and enjoy the great outdoors. You might find me snowboarding, skiing, hiking, camping, rollerblading, paddleboarding, or traveling to new places. I also cherish my time in a book club where I can dive into great stories. At home, I have a sweet 6-year-old calico cat named Winnie who is a phenomenal puzzle buddy.
