We are thrilled to share some wonderful news. Beginning in the 2026‑2027 school year, Carson will proudly welcome back the Gifted Magnet Program!

For over two decades, Carson has been a place where accelerated learners thrive. Whether students are formally identified as gifted or are performing above grade level, our community continues to shine. Our Gifted Magnet Program will offer structured support designed to challenge and inspire these exceptional learners through:

Exposure to higher‑level thinking strategies
Enriching classroom experiences
Diverse perspectives
Collaborative opportunities

By hosting this program, we celebrate and honor the creativity and brilliance of our entire student community.

Important Dates & Opportunities:

School Choice Round One:

The enrollment window is open from December 2nd through January 20th. This is your chance to submit enrollment applications and consider Carson as the perfect option for your child.
Gifted and Talented Carson Coffee and Conversation:

Join us on January 7th from 7:45‑8:30 am for a deeper dive into what our Magnet Program will look like in the classroom and how we are building our teachers’ capacity to support exceptional learners.
