Julia is on her sixth year of teaching and has lived in Colorado all of her life. She has taught in a wide variety of settings including self-contained DHH and general education kindergarten. She has been volunteering at Carson since she was in high school. Her time at Carson as a volunteer motivated her to pursue a teaching degree and a Master’s in deaf education. When she is not at school she might be working for Feel the Beat, teaching dance classes, doing yoga, or reading.
