The Collaborative School Committee (CSC) brings together families, staff and members of our community to create and implement a plan to promote high achievement within a school. Colorado law requires all schools to have a CSC (also referred to as a School Accountability Committee or SAC).
The Carson CSC holds monthly meetings, to which all members of our community are invited to attend, that cover a wide range of topics such as the annual school budget, school performance metrics and the school’s Unified Improvement Plan.
As the Collaborative School Committee of Carson Elementary School, we will:
strive to ensure that, each day, our students are met and supported in their development as a “whole child”, so that they may be joyful, thrive, and achieve their full potential
encourage and support the implementation of thoughtful and innovative learning programs / techniques / tools that help us meet our students’ needs
prioritize the health and safety of all our students, teachers and staff
foster open dialogue and provide a forum where all members of our community feel supported and have an opportunity to be heard
promote and model an inclusive and respectful school community that lives our Carson Character
